Pablo de Miguel, AIA
Born in Madrid, Spain. Pablo received a Master of Architecture from Harvard University in 2001 and his architectural degree with honors from the Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid in 1998.
He has been working in New York since 2003 and, prior to establishing PdMA, Pablo worked for internationally recognized practices in London (Haskoll Architects), Madrid (AGAS and Rafael Moneo) and New York (Skidmore, Owings and Merill, Tsao & Mckown Architects and Takahashi + de Miguel Architects).
His International experience as design architect includes a wide range of cultural, residential and commercial buildings in New York, Kazakhstan, Japan, South Korea, Spain and UK. His work has been exhibited, published and recognized with numerous academic and professional awards.
Pablo’s practice is supplemented by his academic involvement. He has taught at Pratt, The Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture/ CCNY. New York Institute of Technology, the Career Discovery program at Harvard University, and the Advance Core Studio at the Boston Architectural Center. In addition, he has been invited as design critic to NYIT, Pratt Institute, Harvard University, Boston Architectural Center, ETSAM and UPenn.
Pablo is a Registered Architect in New York, Connecticut and Madrid (Spain). He is also member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid (COAM).
