Alejandro San Felipe Berna (1971) Alejandro studied architecture at the University of Palermo and at the University of Navarre’s School of Architecture (Pamplona) graduating with First Class Honours (Final Project) and with a Special Graduation Prize. He holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) and is currently writing his doctoral thesis titled Sergio Bernardes: Sensory Exploration and Utopias at the ETSAM School of Architecture at UPM. He has written for the magazines Parajes de Arquitectura and Crítica y Fisuras de la cultura contemporánea. He is currently Professor of Projects IV at the School of Architecture of the San Jorge University (Zaragoza). He has worked together with Francisco Lacruz at Bernabad Architecture since 2000. In 2005 they received the Spanish National Architecture Prize in the Housing category and in 2006 were awarded the Garcia Mercadal Prize. Their projects have been published in numerous media outlets and exhibited in Spain, Bolivia, Argentina, Peru, Chile and Ecuador.

Francisco M. Lacruz Abad (1967) Francisco studied architecture at the School of Architecture of the University of Navarre, obtaining First Class Honours for his final project, a Special Graduation Prize and the 2nd Spanish National Prize for University Architecture Studies. He obtained a Master’s degree in Architecture and Urban Design at Harvard University (MAUD 95) with a scholarship from the Real Colegio Complutense and the Government of Navarre. In 1995 he began his professional career and in 2000 founded Bernabad Arquitectura together with Alejandro San Felipe. In 2005 they received the Spanish National Architecture Prize in the Housing category and in 2006 the Garcia Mercadal Prize for which they have also been awarded many second prizes. Their work and projects have been published in numerous media outlets and exhibited numerous countries such as Spain, Bolivia, Argentina, Peru, Chile and Ecuador. Has was curator for the 11th Spanish Architecture and Urban Development Biennial.
